Gwynfe Growers, Gwynfe

Overview

We’re Luke Peake and Rebecca and we’re farmers who love to cook. In 2022, supported by our doggo Durin, we decided to turn our passion for growing and eating healthy food into a small market garden, to help feed our local community in the western side of Bannau Brycheiniog and the Tywi Valley. Gwynfe Growers was born!

We’re a small (less than an acre!), intensive farm, striving to be as sustainable as possible. We don’t dig, nor do we use a tractor. And while we’re not certified organic (due to the expense and admin), we do follow organic practices. We focus on the health of the soil, the pollinators and insects, and the broader ecosystem we inhabit, and we encourage diversity. We’re proud of how we grow, and will happily answer any questions!
